Wedding Photographer in Cheshire

Wedding photographer in Cheshire Dave Street.

Wedding Photographer in Cheshire Dave Street's unique approach and style is professional and fast, experience counts.

You're an individual

We want you to stay that way

As a couple you are totally individual, together and apart. You both bring your own tastes and styles to the relationship, all this goes into the world you create around you.

Your wedding day is a huge expression of you, the flowers you've chosen, the colours, the venue, the outfits, the cars. the jewellery, the keepsakes, the things borrowed, the things blue, the old and the new. Family traditions, things worn by brides that their mothers and even grand mothers wore on their wedding day that they will carry with them. Then there are all the things your guests, family and friends, will bring to the day. Little touches and memories. All this is part of your wedding.

Why should your photographer change any of that? We think they shouldn't.

Before your wedding we want to find out what is important to you, who you want to make sure feels included, the style of your dress and the main theme colours. Any special pictures you are certain you want. The style of your photography is important, we will use a mix of traditional, reportage and fine art as a preference. However if the couple ask we will use a single type this will be done. Brides are asked to keep a folder of images they particularly like so the style and composition can be used as a foundation. Designers and Art directors do this on the commercial photography and it's a really good way of creating a " look " for the photography.

Pre Wedding Meeting - Walking the Course

It is so important as your wedding day draws near that you feel confident in the arrangements andknow what is going to happen on your wedding day. Proper planning and preparation prevents poor performance as a very good saying and all our photography has as much planning as can be done. Your photographer Dave Street will visit the place of your ceremony and the place of your celebrations with you about a month before to draw together a plan for your photographs and look at any final details, discuss your thoughts and go through some posing techinques with you. Timings and any details are discussed with other people involved such as your wedding planner or catering staff. After all these people also need to know they have a proffessional working with them on the day. The photography follows the natural time line of your wedding so as to be a part of the day and not work against it.

Digital Photography and Weddings

There is no doubt that digital photography is the best thing that ever happened to wedding photographers, when it was first intorduced digital was the worst thing that could have happened but things have come along way since then and we now have cameras and software ( when used correctly ) that can match the quality of film in a medium format camera such as a Mamiya RZ which is what Dave used to do weddings on with 35 mm for the informal images. Digital is versatile and can go in to many applications after being processed. A wedding can produce around 300 images and these are processed to get the most from them in the latest Adobe software. The images are turned into vibrant, cropped and adjusted photographs, this takes around 2 days after the photography is finished. The average wedding has 3.5 days work attached to it.

You receive all your wedding photographs with post production work done to them on a DVD as jpeg files. Large ones and small ones. The large ones can be printed upto 20 x 24 inches and the small ones are to be used in email and online applications. DVD slideshows and webgalleries are also supplied.

Wedding Albums

You are under no obligation to buy an album from us, but if you do want to we have a range of designer albums that are stunning. Designed by Dave Street with designs approved by you and as many changes as you want to get them just right for you. The Bellissimo albums are made using true photographic prints on Kodak Endura paper and have a choice of Acrylic and Aluminium covers as well as soft padded with embossing. Artemis albums are more traditional and the digital press coffee books are wonderful and modern.

We strive to give you an album that will be something special, something individual, more than a record of your wedding, the essence of the wedding and the longer you have it the more you'll value it.
